Turkey Spicy Fry
Boneless turkey - 1 kg(cleaned and chopped)
Shallots(Kunjulli) - 5 nos(chopped)
Onion (big) - 2 nos(chopped)
Tomatoes - 2 nos(chopped)
Ginger -garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
GreenChillies - 4(chopped)
Turmericpowder - 1/2 tsp
Chillypowder - 1 tsp
Corianderseeds - 3 tbsp
Fennel seeds(Perum jeerakam) - 2 tbsp
Cuminseeds (Jeerakam) - 1 tbsp
Dry red Chillies - 5 nos
Garammasala- 1 tsp
CurryLeaves - 2 springs
Lime juice - 2 tbsp
Corianderleaves - 3 springs(finely chopped)
Coconut Oil - 5 tbsp
Sal - As reqd
Directions
to make Turkey Spicy Fry
:
1)For preparing turkey spicy fry, roast coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and dry red chillies on low flame till it turns light brown.
2)Grind it to a fine powder and put it in a pressure cooker..
3)Blend tomatoes, onions, shallots and green chillies to a fine paste. Pour it in the pressure cooker.
4)In the same pressure cooker, add in turkey, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder. Mix it well.
5)Pressure cook it till the turkey cooks.
6)Open the lid and allow it to boil till all the water evaporates.
7)Add in the coriander leaves, coconut oil and lime juice. Mix well and allow the turkey to become a bit brown in colour.
8)Turkey spicy fry is ready. Serve hot with chapatti, parotta, bread, etc.
