Mattar paneer

6-8 cashewnuts
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 pinch turmeric
3tsp oil
1/2 tsp chilli pdr
1tsp coriander pdr
1 piece gr chillies chopped(optional)
250 grams Paneer Indian cheese
100 grams boiled green peas
to taste salt
1 pinch garam masala powder
1 springs coriander leaves
Directions
• fry cashew, onions and tomato, ginger garlic turmeric and allow to cool.
• blend the above fried items together to make a masala paste.
• Heat oil in a sauce pan add masala paste ,chilli powder, coriander and salt and continue to fry for another 2 min.
• Add boiled peas and stir to mix with the spices.
• Add water and bring to a boil, cover and simmer on low flame for 5 min.
• Add paneer and simmer for 10 min more. Finally add garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
