Eazy Neyy Payasam

Ingredients:-

Broken red rice - 3/4 cup
Dark jaggery - 350g (Melted)
Ghee - 6tb sp
Salt - 1/4 tsp

How to?

Wash and cook broken red rice with 4-5 cups of water in a cooker. Let it cook very well, until its look like rice porridge. Let it cool. {{I have mentioned about more water, coz the cooked rice porridge becomes think when its cool. Thereafter it will be difficult to mash without lumps.}}

Melt jaggery in a saucepan and drain it into the rice porridge with a strainer and bring to boil. When the mixture starts boiling, generously add 6 tb sp ghee and mix well. Add salt. Let it boil for sometime. Very delicious neipaayasam is ready...

(This is the same tastier payasam that we get as prasadam from temples)
