Ingredients
dry Prawns - 250 grams ...
Raw mango- 1 medium
Drumsticks pieces-12- 15
Grated coconut- 1 cup
Shallots- 7-8
Ginger- 2 inch thick
garlic-3 pc
Green chilly -2
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Chilly powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Curry leaves- a few
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Dry red chilly-2
fenugreek-1/2 tsp
Coconut oil
jackfruit seeds-8-10pc
clean jackfruit seed and cut into quarters,keep ready shaalots, drumsticks,raw mango which can be cut as you wish,possibly smaller since dry praws has less cooking time.
remove head tail of dry prawns and keep in hot water for few min.try to make it in claypot which enhances taste.
preparation
1.Heat coconut oil in a pot and add mustard seeds and when they splutter add fenugreek let them also roast and spread smell,add sliced shallots,ginger,garlic,roast till golden . Add curry leaves and 2 dry red chilly and fry.
2.now add jackfruit seeds,drumstick and dry prawns and soat till lightly roasted.if mango is not much sour add gambooge to adjust sourness.
3.Make a fine paste of coconut ,coriander powder and chilly powder,turmeric and then pour this over the cooked mangoes and prawns and mix well.
4.simmer the flame and let the gravy thickens it will take about upto few minutes.
dont forget to add salt according to taste...
