Drumstick Leaves Thoran..Delicious murungai keerai and coconut stir fry.

Ingrediants:

Drumstick Leaves – 3 cups
Sambar Onions / Chinna Ulli / Shallots – 5 sliced finely
Mustard Seeds / Kaduku- 1 tsp
Coconut Oil- 1 tblspn
Curry leaves – 1 spring
Salt to taste

To Grind:
Coconut-1 cup
Dry Red Chilli – 2 or to taste
Garlic – 5 pods
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi-1 tsp
Sambar Onion / Chinna Ulli / Shallots – 3

Method:

Grind all the ingrediants given for grinding to a slightly coarse paste without adding any water.Set this aside for a moment.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard seeds, shallots, curry leaves and fry for 1 min.

Now add in drumstick leaves and sauté for 10 mins.Season with salt and mix well.

Now add the pureed coconut mixture to this and mix everything together.

Let it simmer for 5-10 mins while you stir inbetween. Let the flavours get all merged together.

Now remove it from heat and serve with rice
