SPICY CHICKEN THORAN IN MANCHATTI😜😜
INGREDIENTS :-
Boneless Chicken pieces - 500 g (cleaned and cut them into small pieces)
Small onion(shallots) crushed - 1 cup
Kashmiri chilly powder - 2tsp
Home made Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut - 1 1/2 cup
Dried red chilly - 5 nos
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Green chilly - 3 nos (chopped)
Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Coconut oil - 4 tbsp
Curry leaves
Onion - 2 no (sliced)
Salt to taste
METHOD :-
Heat coconut oil in an earthern pot (manchatti). Splutter mustard seeds.once it splutter add curry leaves,1/2 cup crushed shallots, ginger garlic paste and saute till it golden brown in color.
Add chicken pieces,sliced onion,1/2 cup shallots, turmeric powder, kashmiri chilly powder, garam masala powder, salt.mix well.Cover and cook the chicken in a low flame till it 3/4 th cooked.
Meanwhile pulse the grated coconut with dry red chillies,green chillies and curry leaves.
After almost cooked add the coconut mixture and mix well and saute it for few more minutes and switch off.Drizzle some coconut oil and curry leaves over the thoran.
Mix well while serving.
TIPS:
TRY TO MAKE THIS THORAN IN A MANCHATTI.IT GIVES AMAZING TASTE.
ADD MORE CURRY LEAVES GIVES A NICE FLAVOUR.
NO NEED TO ADD WATER.BECAUSE CHICKEN WILL DRAIN OUT WATER AND ITS ENOUGH FOR COOK IT.
