MEEN MANGA THENGA MURINGAKKAI CURRY
It is nothing new or extra ordinary for people those who are home cooks here . I have no idea about the traditional way or method to do this curry in common.. so it was a try which came out well.Hope to see if anyone can suggest a better way to do this .cheers !

TO GRIND
Coconut grated fresh -100 gms (used desiccated and fresh is always better )
Coconut milk powder- 1 tspn use this only if u opt for desiccated
INGREDIENTS
Fish small sized ( kilimeen)-400 gms(better to use small size fishes like mathy,ayala etc)
Raw mango sliced length wise with skin on-1 no (choose the one with extra sourness )
Drumstick finger slit cut cleaned medium size-2 nos
Oil-30 ml
Ginger-garlic chopped finely-50 gms
Green chilly slit -4 nos
Shallots(cheriya ulli)-10-12 nos cleaned and sliced or normal onion 1 big chopped finely
Turmeric powder- 1 tspn
Chilly powder- 3 tsp
Salt-to taste
Fenugreek seeds-a pinch
Mustard seeds –a pinch
Curry leaves-2 strands
METHOD

Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger-garlic-onion once it is in light brown in color add the spices in turmeric-chilly powder .stir well till the raw aroma goes and add in a cup of water and let it boil add salt to taste.
Add the raw mango and drum stick cover it and allow to cook.Once the mango and drumsticks half done add in the grinded paste and mix well let it boil once and finally add fish
Finish it by tempering fenugreek seeds ,mustard seeds and curry leaves.
