Rava (Semolina) unniyappam
Ingredients:
Semolina-1cup
All purpose Flour (Maida) - 1/2 cup
Baking soda- a pinch
Jaggery - 1/2 cup (adjust accordingly).
Salt
Small banana-4
Black Sesame seeds-1tsp
Ghee-2tsp
Thenga kothu- 2 tsp
Oil-for frying
Method
Roast semolina for few minutes for until its raw smell goes remove from gas let it comes to room temperature. Take a bowl add semolina to this add maida mash small banana and baking soda and mix well. Now add jaggery syrup and mix well add salt and enough water to make an medium batter mix well with out any lumps. Heat ghee and roast thenga kothu until golden brown and sesame seeds. Add this roasted coconut and sesame seeds and mix well. Let it stay for 30 minuets. Keep a unniyappam chatty and pour oil in to the holes of it. When medium hot add one table spoon of batter to each whole and cook by flipping the app
