SARDINE CURRY VTH SUNDRIED AMLAS

fry in little oil ,,corriander seeds ( 5 teasp) + red chillies(15 to 20) + sundried amlas (3 ) + pepper corns ( 1 teasp) +curry leaves(1 twig) + garlic pods(2) nicely... keep them aside...

now again n lil oil fry 1 teasp of mustard n 1/4 teasp of methi seeds n keep them separately...

now grind coconut (2 teasp).. + d first set of fried ingredients + tamarind to a smooth paste..lastly add d second set of fried items(mustard n methi )n give jst one round n d mixer.. now dis s d masala..

now n a CLAY POT ...boil d masala.adding required water .along vth suffient salt...half teasp of haldi...and one or two slit green chillies...... if it s nicely large sardines you can add them then itself...if it is very small add them n d end...

let it boil nicely....add fresh curry leaves on d top.. aftr turning off d gas pour one or 2 teasp coconut oil on d top..its ready....!!!!!
NOTE.... if u dont have the sundried amlas (nellikka veyilathunakkiyathu) you can avoid it but increase the amount of tamarind used...but i wud strongly reccommend to use the amlas as they defnitley enhance the taste of the mathi....
