SIMPLE BONDA (A SIMPLE TEA TIME SNACK)

INGREDIENTS :-
Rice flour- 1 cup
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Rava - 1 cup
Jaggery - 1/4 cup
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - a pinch
Baking powder - 1 pinch
Water - 1/4 cup
Fried coconut pieces - 1/4 cup
Oil for deep frying
Cumin seed - a pinch
METHOD :-
Melt the jaggery in water and strain it.
Take a bowl add rice flour, rava, wheat flour, grated coconut, cardamom powder, cumin seed, fried coconut pieces, baking powder with melted jaggery and make a fine paste. keep this batter aside for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Pour the batter into the oil with a ladle. Deep fry the bonda till it become golden brown in colour. Serve with hot tea or coffee. Enjoy!!
