POTTUKADALAI OR ROASTED GRAM LADOO

This is a healthy, easy to make south Indian lad recipe which can be made within minutes.
Roasted gram ( pottukadalai ) - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Melted Ghee - 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts - 6,7 pieces broken
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Dry roast pottukadalai in a non stick pan for 3,4 minutes in a low flame. Don’t let it change its colour. In a dry mixer, pulse it to a fine powder. Grind sugar too to a fine powder. In a pan, add a tsp of ghee and fry the broken cashews to golden brown colour. In a mixing bowl, add powdered gram flour, powdered sugar, cardamom powder and fried broken cashews. Mix it together with a spoon. Slightly heat 1/4 cup of ghee in a pan and pour it to the bowl. Mix it well with a spoon so that ghee is evenly mixed. When its warm ( hand bearable ) start shaping them into ladoo’s Make ladoo’s with the remaining flour.
This can be stored in an airtight container for 3,4 days. Enjoy homemade ladoo’s
