Potatoes – 2 (boiled and cubed)
Onion – 2 (sliced thinly)
Ginger – a small piece (chopped)
Green chilli – 2 (sliced thinly)
Tomatoes – 1 big or 2 small (chopped)
Salt – to taste
Red chili powder – 3/4 tsp to 1 tsp
Chaat masala powder (any brand) – 1.5 tsp
Plain yoghurt – as required
Mint leaves and coriander leaves – chopped for garnishing
Method:
Mix well the boiled chickpeas, potatoes, onion, ginger, green chilli, tomatoes, salt, chilli powder, chaat masala powder, mint leaves and coriander leaves in a bowl. Once mixed well add yoghurt to your taste. Mix well once more and serve. (In my recipe I have used yoghurt mixed with little water to get a thin consistency but we can use yoghurt as such also.) Another variation is instead of yoghurt mix with little lemon juice and serve.
