Recipe. ...

For the batter
Chickpea flour-1/2 cup
Rice flour -2tbs
Soda powder -2pinch
Salt -to taste

For the filling

Potatoes -3 mashed
Garlic -2cloves finely chopped
Ginger -small piece finely chopd
Green chilli -3
Coriander leaves - a little bit
Curry leaves -some
Coriander pwdr-1tea sp
Cumin pwdr -1/2 tsp
Turmeric pwdr -1/4 tsp
Mustard seed -1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1tsp
Salt - to taste

Method of cooking

Make a thick batter by mixing the batter ingredients in water...and keep aside for 15 minutes

Heat 1tbs oil in a pan,add mustard seeds n allow to splutter, then add your ginger garlic chillies curry leaves n coriander leaves and saute, then add your powders ,nd lemon juice turn heat off...mix this well into your mashed potato nd make small balls....filling is ready..

Heat oil in a thick base wok for deep frying
Put your potato balls into the batter and coat well..nd deep fry until golden brown. ..
Enjoy while still hot with chutney nd a cup of tea
